Immersive Events, in conjunction with Jailhouse Tours, are bringing you the only way to spend a night in a cell! That is, without a prison sentence!! These one off ‘Night in A Cell’ events are a bit of a change to your usual hotel or hostel stays, adding an extra dimension to your Shrewsbury and Shropshire visits.

Discover and Explorers' Club Special- The Hungry Caterpillar and beautiful butterflies. 3-11 years old. Choose from several caterpillar and butterfly crafts and then go out into the meadows to see what we can find. For older children and adults: Join Rhona from Butterfly Conservationfor a walk and survey of the butterflies found in the Onny Meadows. Learn about out butterfly garden and the plants you nees at home to attract butterflies and find out more about how you can get involved.

Pamper your pooch at our special family day out for dogs and their owners. Lots of fun for dog lovers and all the family. Enjoy a doggy treasure hunt ‘Toto’s treasure trail’; a dog show including ‘best sausage catcher’ and ‘best dressed dog’; a police dog show; dog related talk; a gun dog demo; a pet photo booth; agility course for dogs and canine related stalls. This year you are also invited to be a wedding guest at our ‘Pug Wedding’! This is a special Fundraising Event for the Dorothy Clive Garden. The event will also be supporting the Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue Association

Join a drop-in tile decorating workshop between 10am and 3.30pm and try the tube lining technique to produce your own ceramic masterpiece; you could make a collection of coasters, a circular door plaque or a gift for a loved one on a heart shaped tile. Activities vary from day-to-day; tiles cost from £5 each and can be fired and sent home later for a small extra charge to cover postage and packing. It takes up to 1½ hours to decorate your tile so last admission to the workshops is 2pm.
